The firm
A.S Konsult'
A global, strategic, legal and institutional consulting firm, founded in Marrakech in March 2014. It works with business leaders, investment project sponsors and public institutions when they face the unexpected, regulatory urgency, a need for structuring or the demands of growth.
Our work
A single focus: resolving complex problems at critical moments and turning points for organisations
Its backbone is crisis management: the firm is called in when the situation is critical, deadlines are tight and quality is non-negotiable. The same logic extends to marketing and communication, called upon at turning points — repositioning, strategic reorientation, launch, leadership transition — when the task is no longer to write, but to embody a strategy and put it into words.
The cases entrusted to the firm fit no single category: they are at once strategic, economic, legal and institutional. Four practice areas serve as their points of entry, deployed as the instruments of a single engagement.
These instruments stem from twelve years of assignments and from the founder’s dual training in management and law. Cases are not handled on a production-line basis: each requires reconstructing the full picture before producing an answer.
The firm has grown exclusively through referrals, without any canvassing: a first engagement in a sensitive situation most often leads to broader support, and assignments tend to extend over the long term.
“Expertise has real value only if it serves as a shield in crisis and a lever for growth. Our sole commitment is to provide the legal certainty and strategic clarity needed to bring your ambitions to fruition.”
Asmaa El Forkani — Founder
The founder
Every assignment is led directly by the founder, Asmaa El Forkani, a strategic, legal and institutional consultant trained in management (ESC Clermont-Ferrand, ENCG Marrakech) and in public law and international investment law (Cadi Ayyad University).
The firm brings in specialised consultants and experts according to the nature and scale of each assignment.
Commitments & values
Four values underpinning every engagement
Ethics
Professional ethics, moral awareness and social responsibility; representation before the courts is the remit of lawyers, working in liaison with the firm.
Trust
Confidentiality and discretion: situations and documents entrusted to the firm are treated as strictly confidential; no case is ever mentioned without the client’s consent.
Rigour
Diligence, seriousness and follow-through: every recommendation rests on facts, legal texts and figures.
Commitment
Availability and attentiveness: immediate mobilisation in urgent situations, follow-up of every case through to closure; deadlines met.
Method
A five-step approach
Preliminary diagnosis
The diagnosis builds a complete picture of the case: the parties involved, constraints, deadlines, applicable texts and available documents. It determines the instruments to be deployed and the scope of the engagement. For strategic assignments, the diagnosis is a service in its own right.
Proposal
The proposal sets out the objectives, scope, method, expected deliverables and resources deployed, including specialised consultants and experts where the case requires. The quotation reflects the nature and scale of the assignment.
Contracting
The contract sets the phase-by-phase timetable, milestones, reporting arrangements and the confidentiality undertakings attached to the situations and documents entrusted.
Execution
Each phase produces an interim deliverable submitted for validation. Adjustments are made as the work progresses, without waiting for the end of the assignment, which is led directly by the founder.
Closure
The final deliverable consolidates all the work. The assignment closes with an evaluation of the engagement and, where appropriate, follow-up recommendations.
