Website accessibility statement
Website accessibility
Commitment, reference standard, compliance status, measures in place and issue reporting: the website accessibility of askonsult.com in seven points.
Website accessibility: the firm's commitment
A.S Konsult' works to ensure website accessibility on askonsult.com for everyone, including persons with disabilities. This commitment applies whatever the device, browser or assistive technology.
This approach also reflects the spirit of Moroccan Framework Law No. 97-13. This law concerns the protection and promotion of the rights of persons with disabilities.
Website accessibility: reference standard
The firm uses the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA as its reference standard.
These guidelines cover, in particular, the perception of content and keyboard use. They also address the understanding of texts and compatibility with assistive technologies. They therefore serve as a checklist for every change to the website.
Compliance status
No independent body has audited the website's compliance yet. Consequently, the firm does not claim any level of WCAG 2.2 conformance at this stage.
However, the firm carried out internal checks in October 2026 with two automated evaluation tools, Lighthouse and axe-core. As a result, the French and Arabic home pages achieve the maximum Lighthouse accessibility score. This result applies on mobile as well as on desktop.
Measures in place
First, each page declares its language, and the Arabic version reads from right to left. Next, headings follow an ordered hierarchy, and every image carries a text alternative.
In addition, keyboard navigation covers the menus and their submenus. A focus indicator also shows the active element. Moreover, an underline distinguishes links within texts, so that colour is not the only cue.
Finally, the website disables the home page typing effect and other animations when the user's system requests reduced motion.
Known limitations
Some features rely on third-party services, in particular cookie consent management and online appointment booking. Their accessibility therefore depends partly on their providers.
Furthermore, automated checks do not cover all WCAG criteria. Some issues may therefore remain, especially regarding colour contrast and forms.
Reporting a website accessibility issue
Anyone can report to the firm an issue that prevents access to content or to a feature. The contact form and the address contact [at] askonsult.com both allow such reports.
A useful report states the page concerned, the nature of the difficulty and the equipment used. The firm then provides the content or information sought in an accessible form.
Preparation and updates
The firm prepared this statement on 17 October 2026. It then reviews it after any significant change to the website or after new checks.
