Information Systems & Digital Transformation
The Information Systems & Digital Transformation department treats the information system as a strategic tool and leads digital transformation in Morocco. It steps in before technical choices.
Situations addressed
The department first steps in when a technical choice remains open. It then defines needs before any selection of a solution.
It also supports projects for management and steering tools. In this context, data governance plays a central role: quality, flows, security and use for decision-making.
Master plans also concern public bodies, which follow their own stages. In addition, the uses of artificial intelligence in organisations fall within the same framework: uses, data and security.
Finally, an e-commerce website raises compliance questions, particularly under Law No. 09-08 on personal data. The CNDP's guidance then completes the analysis.
The department belongs to the Strategy & Operations pole, alongside the marketing, sales and audit departments.
Digital transformation in Morocco: approach
Each assignment starts with a preliminary diagnosis. The founder then leads every assignment directly.
Interventions cover in particular:
- diagnosis of the existing information system;
- information system master plans;
- requirements definition and specifications;
- assistance in selecting solutions and providers;
- steering of deployment;
- data governance, quality and security.
The deliverables include a diagnosis, a master plan, specifications and a bid evaluation grid. They also include a roadmap and a data governance charter. Finally, a user training plan accompanies deployment.
The specifications express needs before any consultation of providers. Deployment steering then follows the chosen solution through to user training. Dashboards and decision-support tools also form part of the scope.
For digital transformation in Morocco, this work also integrates with other departments when the file requires it.
