Flash videoconference consultation: qualifying a question and settling the relevant decisions
The flash videoconference consultation examines a specific question during a 45- to 60-minute discussion. It serves first to provide direction, to qualify the question and to resolve a defined problem. The discussion then leads to a guidance opinion and to the settling of the relevant decisions. Minutes of the decisions or a note record them in writing. This document reaches the client within 3 working days.

Situations suited to a flash videoconference consultation
- The manager of a very small business is hesitating between several options and must settle a decision without commissioning a full study.
- A project promoter seeks to qualify the need before choosing a service from the catalogue.
- The manager of an SME faces a one-off problem that calls for clear and rapid direction.
- An institutional manager wishes to position the question among the formulas offered by the firm.
- A question concerns one of the firm’s four practice areas: strategy, investment, crisis management or public affairs.
Process
- Online booking: the client selects a slot on the website, asynchronously. The standard slot is set at least 7 days after booking.
- Preliminary questionnaire: the client completes it before the discussion, also remotely. It sets out the question to be examined.
- 45- to 60-minute discussion: this synchronous videoconference session examines the question. It then makes it possible to settle the relevant decisions and to formulate the guidance opinion.
- Written minutes: the firm finally records the decisions in minutes or a note. This document also indicates the appropriate formula for the next steps.
Deliverable
The deliverable takes the form of written minutes of the decisions settled during the discussion, or a note. It restates the guidance opinion given during the session. It also designates the appropriate formula for the next steps: targeted consultation, thematic consultation or Essential subscription. The firm transmits it within 3 working days. The document summarises the question examined, the decisions settled and the direction adopted. The client thus keeps a written record of the decisions and the direction adopted.
Prerequisites
The session requires a preliminary questionnaire completed before the discussion. This questionnaire sets out the question to be examined and the information useful for understanding it. However, the formula does not include any document analysis. Consequently, the session covers the question as described and not a documented file.
Frequently asked questions
How does it differ from the 30-minute qualification interview?
The qualification interview lasts 30 minutes, free of charge, and is booked online. It constitutes a first contact separate from any service. The flash videoconference consultation, by contrast, is an express formula in its own right. It lasts 45 to 60 minutes and examines the question in substance. It then leads to settled decisions, a guidance opinion and written minutes.
Within what timeframe is the slot scheduled?
The standard slot is set at least 7 days after booking. A priority slot, within 7 days, nevertheless remains possible. In that case, the service constitutes immediate performance, without a right of withdrawal, under the general terms and conditions of sale. The consumer client then gives express consent before performance. The client first receives information on the consequences of this choice.
Is the amount of the flash consultation deductible from a subsequent service?
Yes. The amount is deductible from a consultation, package or subscription taken out within 30 days. The flash consultation thus opens the path to a more comprehensive service, when the question requires it. The deduction nevertheless requires a subscription within this 30-day period. The client nonetheless remains the sole decision-maker as to whether a subsequent service is appropriate.
Does the session include the examination of documents?
No. The formula does not include any document analysis. It relies on the preliminary questionnaire and on the videoconference discussion. When the question calls for the examination of a documented file, the direction then points to the corresponding thematic consultation. Likewise, the drafting of formal instruments and representation before an authority or a court remain outside the formula.
Does the information transmitted remain confidential?
Yes. The firm treats the information transmitted by the client as confidential. It uses it solely for the purposes of the service. Furthermore, this confidentiality obligation survives the end of the relationship. The client, for its part, is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information it transmits.
Does the flash consultation guarantee a result?
No. Like all of the firm’s services, the flash consultation is a obligation of means. It therefore carries no guarantee of results. The decisions recorded in the minutes remain those of the client, who remains the sole decision-maker. The guidance opinion informs these decisions without replacing them.
What comes after a flash videoconference consultation?
The minutes point towards the formula suited to the question. A single question, without documents, thus falls under the targeted consultation. A documented subject falls rather under a thematic consultation from the catalogue. Finally, a need for regular support may lead to the Essential subscription. The path is not linear, however: the flash consultation may also close the process when the question has been answered.
Out of scope
The flash videoconference consultation does not include any document analysis. It also excludes the drafting of formal instruments. Finally, it involves no representation before an authority or a court. When a question requires the involvement of an authorised professional, the firm refers the client to that professional. A documented situation, for its part, falls under a thematic consultation.

Conducting a preliminary diagnostic interview
The preliminary diagnostic interview distinguishes the stated request from the actual problem. Indeed, a request framed in terms of a solution often conceals a problem located elsewhere.
