Onboarding kit: recruiting and integrating a new hire
The onboarding kit covers the recruitment and integration of a new hire, from the definition of the position to the end of the probationary period. Indeed, recruitment takes place in two stages: selection, then integration. The kit thus brings together eight templates that can be used separately. It also includes a bank of behavioural questions.

The eight templates of the onboarding kit, from recruitment to integration
- Job description.
- Conducting the interview: in particular, interview framework and behavioural questions.
- Post-interview assessment grid.
- Preparing for arrival, then the first day.
- Integration plan: in particular, milestones at 30, 60 and 90 days.
- Welcome booklet.
- Finally, end-of-probation review, with notes for use.
When to use the onboarding kit for a recruitment
The kit serves first when a position is opened. It then supports each stage until the hire is confirmed. In addition, it harmonises practices across managers.
Its intended users include, in particular, SME executives and human resources managers. The document also concerns managers who recruit without a dedicated department.
Instructions for use
Each template is used separately, according to the stage of recruitment. The job description first sets the criteria, before any interview. The assessment grid then compares candidates against the same criteria. In addition, the integration plan allocates the milestones between the manager and the team. Finally, the end-of-probation review documents the decision.

Self-assessing interpersonal skills
An interpersonal skills self-assessment establishes a level and guides areas for improvement. Indeed, these skills determine the perceived quality of a service as much as its technical quality.

Conducting a preliminary diagnostic interview
The preliminary diagnostic interview distinguishes the stated request from the actual problem. Indeed, a request framed in terms of a solution often conceals a problem located elsewhere.
